The Sophie hat is crafted from fine Panama, a premium material obtained by hand-weaving the finest fibers of the Carludovica Palmata palm, known as "paja toquilla". This artisanal technique, passed down through generations, ensures a delicate, uniform weave of exceptional quality, providing both lightness and durability. The crown is medium-height, well-structured, and features a central crease and two side dents, known as vaga and bozze. The design is completed with a 4 cm grosgrain ribbon and an unstructured brim, varying between approximately 10 and 12 cm.
